Chatting to Charlie - BBC Radio Jersey

Last Sunday - 5 February - I was invited to chat to Charlie McArdle on his BBC Radio Jersey show about my live, writing and my books.

I had a great time talking about my four published Jersey Scene books and telling the listeners a little about A Jersey Sundae, book 5 in the series, and A Jersey Christmas, my first Christmas novel out this December.

I was also chatting about my WW1 historical romance, Broken Faces and why I write under my own name, Deborah Carr, and my pseudonym, Georgina Troy and also why I chose my pseudonym.

There was great feed back from the listeners when I mentioned that I was looking for suggestions of settings for A Jersey Sundae. I had a great time and looking forward to going back on the show again at some point.

If you want to hear me waffle on chat to Charlie, here's the link - I'm about 2hrs 18mins into the show. Happy listening!

Busy Bee & Books

January was a busy writing month with edits to book 9 and chatting to my cover designer about the covers for A Jersey Sundae (book 5) and A Jersey Christmas (book 6). I should have some news about them soon followed in a couple of months with a cover reveal.

I was also lucky enough to be invited to promote to BBC Radio Jersey's Afternoon Show to promote a library talk I was giving about my Georgina Troy books and especially my Deborah Carr book, Broken Faces, at the Local History Fayre.

It's now February and on Sunday, I'll be appearing on the Charlie McArdle show on BBC Radio Jersey at 11 - 12noon talking about my life as a writer and my books. So, if you're close enough and wish to hear me chatting please listen in.

2017 is here...

Happy New Year!

2017 is here and I've made my writing To Do list for the year, which is:

1.  Finish editing a psychological drama I've written in another pseudonym.

2.  Finish writing an historical romance novella, Beautiful Faces.

3.  Write book 5 in my Jersey Scene series, A Jersey Sundae... plans are underway and I can't wait to get to the actual writing part.

4.  Write book 6 in the Jersey Scene series - and my first Christmas novel - A Jersey                  Christmas.

That's a lot of writing to keep me busy, but with my daughter at uni and son about to go travelling, again, I have a lot of time to enjoy my writing.

Have you made your writing plans for this year? If so, what are they?
